Monkey World is a charity that rehomes and rescues primates from around the world. It is an internationally renowned ape rescue centre established by the late Jim Cronin. Its mission is to halt the illegal smuggling of apes out of Africa & Asia.

Visting:

Monkey World offers a fabulous opportunity to see a wide range of primates being cared for in excellent conditions. See amongst other things the Orangutans, Woolly Monkeys, Chimpanzees and Squirrel Monkeys in a spacious 25 acre woodland setting.

There is also a Pets Corner, Donkeys and Bird Pond.

Aside from the animals other activities available include the Woodland Walk, Picnic Area, Climbing Area, Cafe, Kiosk for ice-cream etc and a Gift Shop.

Things To Help:

Just by visiting and supporting the rescue centre you are helping the primates. You can also buy gifts from the on-line shop and even join in and with the "Primate Adoption" scheme where you get a Certificate, a free pass to visit the centre, a photograph and magazines.
